Read what Ginger's reviewers have to say.
Read the whole book in two days. Lots of fun and a few post-it notes later, I have my marching orders: new jeans, new language, new websites and new files on my computer and many new people to learn about and cull out. This second job is going to be a doozie. You were a pleasure to meet and my friend underestimated your charisma!”— Pam
I'm laughing already and sharing the book with my sister who has been divorced 19 years and never got back out there. I hope I can show her that it still can be done!”— Brenda
Loved the book — I kept laughing on the plane so my seatmates thought I was nuts!” — Jennifer
Just a note that I have started your book and it is so very funny. And I already realized I have made a few first date faux pas! Also, you mentioned to wait a year to date after you’ve been divorced. It’s hard, but I think it is good advice (I have not heeded it per se, but think I’m going to chill out for a while and go on a man diet).” — Wendy
I have been reading Ginger's book and am loving it. I feel like she has really been where I and gives specific and actionable advice and information.” — Rachel
I am half way through the book and LOVE IT! It was everything I hoped it would be :-) Looking forward to seeing you on Oprah!” — Michelle
I enjoyed your book so much! I had to tell my husband not to worry when he saw it on my bedside table. I'm not planning for a divorce, I just wanted to be entertained - and I was! You tell a story so well and you're hilarious!” — Jean
I didn't get a chance to meet you, but really enjoyed the event. As someone whose marriage crumbled in 2008 after 25 years at age 65, it doesn't matter how old you are — getting out there is tough. I've had to kiss a few frogs, but the boost it's given my ego has been amazing. A man in my life is a plus, not a must, and your book will be my reading material on a flight to see family tomorrow. Keep it up!” — Brenda
Ginger Emas has such a wonderful voice — funny, warm, irreverant and wise. It makes the reader feel like she's having a conversation with a good friend, which is an amazing experience. The mixture of practical advice, laugh-out-loud humor (“All I know about Jesus Christ I learned from a Broadway musical”) and insight is very compelling. Even the disclaimer cracked me up! I was glad to know that I've been approaching online dating in the right way (but glad to have the latest safety tips and decoding of emoticons!). I love hearing you affirm that it was a good idea for me to take a few years off to really get to know myself and date differently. The dating stories really make the book. I liked the one about Chad, the fitness guy who you turned to the dark side with your chocolate espresso martini, and the Volleyball Orgasm Guy! This is a very timely, scintillating read — so appealing it is sure to become a social phenomenon!” — Shira
That was a fantastic and memorable evening! You were, so deservedly, a shining star. Your reading of the chapter couldn't have gone better or made everyone want to start reading it immediately. No surprise the books sold out. You looked absolutely fabulous, and it was a Back On Top and Ginger love-fest. Your note thanking everyone for coming is an example why. — Dorian
When I originally picked up your book, I thought it was just going to be a quick, funny read. I didn't know that I was going to relate to it so well. I am about a month from my divorce being final and was really inspired to see and read about the relationship you have with your ex-husband. The new dating world is a little scary to me, as I'm sure it is to all recent divorcees. I am so glad I found someone to help me through it! — Danna
